Friday Foto

1) Taken at St. County Clinic - work

2) Taken today - Halloween

3) I love the colors in this. I usually don't like indoor pictures as well because of the poor lighting, but the stark red and white contrast is nice.

4) This photo means something to me because of the people in it. These people have made having a job enjoyable! (L-R)

Shannon - Cynical, brutally honest, and probably my favorite if I had to pick one. We can talk about any movie out there, any recipe, and she's incredibly hilarious if you catch her sense of humor. Great kids!

Joetta - Sweet peaceful Joetta with a surprising spunk when you least expect it. Always full of laughter. Very patient with me! Although a divorcee, she has taught me a lot about a peaceful, loving marriage.

Dr. Bill - This man is a wonderful man and doctor. Jovial, loving, and straightforward. Been delivering babies at this clinic for 28 years. When approached anywhere by someone he has delivered, he calls them his "kid" hence, he has a LOT of kids (Only 3 biological). If he is still doing it when I have my kids, he will deliver them. I have never seen a doctor care so much about each one of his patients.

5) Named, "On the Job Fun"

Friday is for Foto...

So I was inspired by Esther's "Wordless Wednesday" but didn't want to be a COMPLETE copycat. I decided since I passionately enjoy Photography and have massive amounts of pictures that I would share some. I will also share a few things about the picture like:

1) Where it was taken

2) When it was taken

3) Why I like the picture (in photographic elements)

4) Why it means something to me

5) What I would name it if I had to

So for the first Friday Foto I choose...
1) My "Seasonal Tree" in my front yard. I call it that because it tells true signs of each season in a very timely manner!
2) I took this picture on Tuesday while the sun was going down.
3) I didn't plan this picture to be so lovely, it just kinda happenned. I was walking around the tree taking close ups of the leaves and snapped it. I didn't realize it was so beautiful until I uploaded it on to the computer. I love the golden lighting and the way the top leaf curls over like a curly Q.
4) I am very much loving fall at the moment and it reflects my desire to have a cozy, harvest home.
5) Autumn's Essence

The Simple Woman's Daybook

Outside My Window...I watch the setting sun cast it's final glow on our rustic shed and the antique tractor - lovely

From my learning room... I am glad it is clean and my sewing machine is set up.

I am thankful for... the changing seasons. I am always ready for the next season and greet it with arms wide open no matter how much I dread any kind of extreme temperature. Each season has it's own beauty and purpose - kinda like us!

From the kitchen... I feel most with myself. I am able to provide for my family, spoil my dog, and be creative.

I am wearing... comfy clothes!

I am reading... Reader's Digest. I am catching up on my magazines after reading "Always" a book about Christian marriages withstanding what comes along.

I am hoping... the girls do good in volleyball tomorrow, that I can have fun at the PTO Carnival and that my brother's engagement pictures turn out fabulous!

I am hearing... the washer and music from someone's profile that is up in a different browser tab.

Around the house... I am making progress even though I still lapse into my old self from time to time. I need to do more though before hunters come in a few weeks.

One of my favorite things... going through a hymnal with a great pianist that plays off me and I play off of him/her and harmonizing. Taking a great photograph. Loving my husband goodbye every morning. The way my puppy looks at me every morning when he's been outside a few minutes. A cozy home.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week... Well, it's Friday so... Saturday consists of going to work to make up for missing Wednesday, watching the girls' sub-state volleyball games for Tiff, and going to the PTO Carnival while Jerrad helps with the youth pheasant hunt.
